The Role of Informal VET in Boosting Jobs for the Circular Economy

Session Information

Without proper up- and reskilling, we risk not only leaving workers behind but also limiting our ability to achieve key environmental goals. In this context, vocational education and training (VET) is key. While formal VET is crucial to provide needed skills, informal VET can ensure a just and inclusive transition, as it can reach marginalized groups that often have little or no access to the labour market. This session will share good practices and explore solutions to unleash the potential of the green economy, leaving no one behind. The objective is to mobilise stakeholders to reflect and act together towards a more sustainable and inclusive future.
